Stress from studying keeps piling up, doesn’t it? And getting sick of the IRC, our very own library and study area is the last thing anyone wants. Therefore, the best way to keep yourself clear-headed and collected is to take a walk for a study break.

The campus has a lot of scenic views. With the green grass, trees, and blooming flowers, you can practically walk anywhere. However, if you walk towards the interfaith house from the IRC, you will walk past the small pond in the middle and maybe throw a rock and make a wish to pass your next exam. As you get closer to the interfaith house, it’ll only get greener and greener. Then, behind it is campus green. Just take a lap around– with enough time to breathe and clear your mind, by the time you’re back in the IRC you will be able to continue studying with a fresh mind.

Campus isn’t the only place to walk around however. Nearby public parks are available, and a students’ favourite is Knoops Park. If you take the bus and are looking to walk around then sit down for a coffee break, the Knoops Park Cafe will be your best option. Sip some coffee, glaze with the sun, and ease your mind.
Choosing the right time for your study breaks is essential when it comes to time management. If you end up taking a walk too long, you might end up wasting your time instead of using it efficiently to clear your head. Try to schedule your breaks and align them with your classes and study times.
Don’t forget your friends! Spending quality time with them is important to keep your serotonin up. Using the walking routes with them will be motivational and fun.
Taking a walk on campus or in a nearby park will keep you refreshed during your study breaks. Nature walks in Bremen with the right timing and good company, will help with your focus while studying, boost your motivation, and renew your energy.
