What aspects of the University captured your interest and motivated you to study there?
The IR program got my attention while I was finishing my high school diploma in the United States as a German citizen. I wanted to continue to embrace the international community while studying.
Which elements of your studies brought you the most joy and fulfillment in your learning journey?
Writing my bachelor thesis brought me the most fulfillment as I was able to achieve something on my own that also represented my huge interest in defence and security.
How did campus life contribute to your development outside the classroom, and what is your best memory?
Campus Life at the university is truly unique as it is a community within a community. I truly believe that the friends I made have inspired me truly.
What is your career highlight thus far, and what are you most proud of as a young professional?
My career highlight has been the current role that I have grown into. I am proud to have ended up in the industry where I always wanted to go.

I graduated from Jacobs University in Bremen in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations after finishing my secondary education as a German national in the United States.I developed a keen interested for security studies during my undergraduate studies and practically applied those interests with an internship at the Federal Academy for Security Policy in Berlin and at the U.S. Consulate General in Hamburg. I worked as a Business Intelligence Trainee at Rheinmetall Electronics and as a Fellow at BwConsulting while pursuing a Master of International Affairs & International Security at the Hertie School in Berlin. After graduation, I started her career at Saab Deutschland GmbH, a Swedish defence company, and recently transitioned into the role Chief of Staff Marketing & Sales. Furthermore, I have founded Generation Restoration e.V., a NGO at the intersection of regenerative agriculture and refugee aid and I am in the process of entering the reserves of the German Armed Forces.
